Fathering Teenagers

There's no denying that adolescent years are as tough on parents as they are on teens (maybe more so!). Fathers, seeing their children begin to pull away and establish their independence, may begin to feel like they're no longer part of their children's lives.

"Trying to counter that loss of control by constraining him/her more may drive the teen away. Instead, focus on controlling your behavior and making adjustments in your fathering skills."
