Teens' Summers Aren't Always a Vacation

A growing number of ambitious teens are acting more like adults by spending their summers preparing for their futures. Instead of spending their summers at the pool or the beach, many college-bound teenagers spend the time working on academic projects and/or volunteer work in an effort to increase their chances of getting into the college of their choice.
