A team of four teachers at McDougle Middle School decided to divide their students by gender for a month or so, to see if students work harder, behave better and earn higher grades. During the next four-to six-weeks, the teachers will study the students' behavior, grades, cooperation and homework while they work in single-sex environments.The teachers reported that some of the benefits were visible the first day of the experiment the classrooms are quieter and the students are more confident.
